Jerry's house at 2 Glendale Road. In August 1946, when the deNoyelles' moved in, my mother sent me down the stree to knock on the kitchen door to meet Jerry.
Could that tree be the same Japanese Maple that Mrs. deNoyelles was so proud of some 50+ years ago?
The hemlocks that Mr. D planted in 1946 are doing quite well.
Our house at 14 Glendale Road - extensively remodeled. The only thing I can recognize is the wall on the right side.
But the patio and stone fireplace my father built in the back yard are still there.
Driving up Glendale Road from our house into the Glen, passing the Bowen's, the Geiger's and the White's, and stopping at the park that runs from Glendale out to Fremont, past the location of the old sand pits.
